Welcome to the laboratory of Todd Vision in the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  We study the evolution of plant genomes, develop new ways for computers to help us make sense of biological information, and generally follow our curiosity.  We invite you to learn more about who we are and what we do.

Join us

Graduate students who wish to join the laboratory may apply through the Department of Biology’s Ecology, Evolution Biology Graduate Program. Alternatively, they may matriculate and do a rotation through the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP) and receive their PhD from the Department of Biology’s Molecular and Cellular Biology Graduate Program, the Curriculum in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, or the Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology.
