Software and databases
Software
- FISH. Applies a fast dynamic programming algorithm to identify and statistically assess regions of weak ancestral similarity within and between complex genomes.
- MapPop. Chooses good samples from mapping populations (such as RILs) and for locating new markers relative to an existing linkage map.
Databases
- Dryad Digital Repository, a curated resource that makes the data underlying scientific publications discoverable, freely reusable, and citable. Dryad provides a general-purpose home for a wide diversity of datatypes.
- Phenoscape Knowledgebase, a datastore of computable phenotypes for studies of evolution and genetics.
